How did the idea of creating your own company come about — and why logistics?
The foundation of Anchor Express is built on decades of experience in the transportation and logistics industry.
From a young age, I was fascinated by the fast pace of logistics — every day is different, every shipment is unique, and the challenge of coordinating cargo transportation never gets boring.
I noticed that many companies struggled to find reliable freight forwarding partners who could manage shipments with precision and transparency. That inspired me to build a logistics company focused on:
- dependable air, ground and ocean freight services
- personalized customer support
- fast and accurate shipment planning
- problem-solving, especially for urgent deliveries
Logistics is always evolving, and launching my own company allowed me to create a team that values professionalism, quality, and client success.
Do you remember your first cargo or your very first client?
Absolutely — I remember it clearly.
I personally monitored every step of the process, double-checked all documents, and tracked the package from pickup to final delivery. Even though it was a small shipment, it felt incredibly important. Delivering it successfully gave me a sense of confidence and confirmed that starting a logistics company that prioritizes responsibility and accuracy was the right path.
What is the story behind the company name, and how was the logo created?
The name Anchor Express reflects the core values of our brand: reliability, stability, and trust.
Even though we specialize in air, ground and ocean freight services, the anchor symbolizes the dependable foundation our clients can count on in a fast-moving industry.
The logo was designed to represent movement, direction, and connection — a visual symbol of how we transport shipments from point A to point B with speed, expertise, and efficiency. It communicates our promise: no matter the mode of transport, our clients can rely on us.
Were there moments when you felt like giving up? What helped you keep going?
Never — not a single moment.
Even during the most challenging times in international logistics, giving up was not an option. This industry is my passion, and obstacles only motivated me to improve.
Even today, with a strong operations team, I remain actively involved in daily logistics tasks, including time-critical freight, urgent air shipments, and complex cargo handling. This work energizes me — it’s something I love and want to continue doing.
Was there a turning point when you realized the company had reached a new level?
Yes — the turning point came when we secured our first major accounts and saw our internal systems operating smoothly at scale.
It proved that we could handle larger, more complex shipments and meet the demands of clients who need high-quality logistics services.
One of our biggest achievements is establishing our 24/7 logistics support, which allows us to respond to urgent requests, manage AOG shipments, and provide real-time assistance for clients anywhere in the world. This capability became a key part of our identity as a dependable freight forwarding company.
